More About Joe

New York based comic. Born on the Island of Manhattan several Presidential administrations ago, but was raised in, and still lives in, the Bronx. He does not know Jennifer Lopez, never worked at The Stadium, or appeared in a commercial for any of the lobster shacks in City Island. He did not attend or graduate college; footnotes freak him out as they are supposed to validate the truth but all his homework was made up.

Born to immigrant parents, Joe’s slice of life does not include pineapple or pizza, but rather a funny take on growing up first generation American, and figuring out too late that financial planning for your retirement should start at 25 and not 60. He has been mastering the non-financial parts of retirement since kindergarten, perfecting the sweet balance of doing just enough not to get noticed and not enough to get thrown out. He’s never been promoted but he’s never been fired, and believes goals belong on the football field, not on your boss’s annual assessment.

The first “For Dummies” book was not published until 1991, too late for Joe’s education career.
